SourceCodeReviews.com was born out of a shared frustration of three experienced IT professionals who regularly struggled with the same challenges:
- A code review should be conducted by someone with both concrete, in-depth experience with the technology as well as code reviews. That combination is hard to find.
- Especially in niche technologies, it can be difficult to find someone without conflicts of interest. It's a small world.
- Code reviews are too often conducted by firms that use it as a way to "save" the client and attract the project to themselves.
- Even a quality team can face lingering problems. An expert with a fresh perspective can often troubleshoot such problems quickly. You don't just take such experts "off the rack.
